How It Works

Welcome, fellow heister. You've stumbled into Dr. Heisenberg's operation, which means one of two things. Either you're here by accident, in which case you should leave before someone notices you. Or you're here on purpose, in which case the doctor would like to make your acquaintance. Either way, you're going to want to know how this works before you make any sudden movements.

Step One — Acquire $HEIST

$HEIST is the doctor's preferred currency. There are exactly 91,111 of them in existence, ever. No more will be minted. The supply gets smaller every time someone trades, because the doctor takes a small cut and burns it.

Find the Uniswap V4 pool, swap your ETH for $HEIST, and now you're a holder.

A Word Of Caution

For the first hundred or so blocks after launch, the doctor enforces a buy cap that ramps up gradually. The cap starts at 2.5% and increases by 1% per block until it lifts entirely. Fair launch, no whale snipes.

Step Two — Join The Crew

Once you hold $HEIST you're eligible. To actually earn rewards, join a crew. Crews form during one-hour heist windows on a continuous loop. Buying $HEIST during the open window is your entry — the hook records your contribution, your timing tier, and the operation state at the moment you arrived.

The Timing Tiers

The earlier you join during a window, the bigger your share of the take.

Step Three — Understand The Heat

Every heist has a Heatlevel — a single global number that rises with active trading and decays passively. When trading is hot, the next heist pays out exponentially more. When it's cold, payouts shrink.

Heat is shared. A whale who dumps a huge buy lights a fire that warms every wallet in the room. But hot heists are also more likely to get busted.

Step Four — Pray You Don't Get Busted

When a window closes, the contract resolves it. It reads recent trading patterns, calculates a coherence score, and rolls the dice on whether the operation got compromised. Real on-chain randomness — nobody can manipulate it, not even the doctor.

The Bust Roll

bust_probability = heat × (1 - coherence)

Hot and messy is the danger zone. Hot and clean is the jackpot. Cold and anything is boring but safe.

Resolution

If clean, the full score pays out — plus any lockup forfeited from prior busts. If busted, half is forfeited to the lockup, heat resets, and the crew walks away with what they can carry.

Diagram 6 · Resolution Flowchart

The doctor has a saying about this. “Don't get greedy.”

Step Five — Collect The Loot

$LOOT is the doctor's payment instrument. You can't buy it on the open market — the only way to get $LOOT is to earn it from heists. It's a redemption claim: burn $LOOT at the redemption contract, receive ETH from the treasury at the current rate.

ETH per $LOOT = (treasury_balance × 0.85) / total_$LOOT_supply

The treasury reserves 85% at all times to ensure ongoing redemptions never break. Patient holders eat well — the treasury grows faster than $LOOT supply in healthy operations.

Step Six — Watch The Eras

The operation has eras — like Bitcoin halvings, but triggered by cumulative heist volume. Each era cuts the $LOOT issuance rate in half.

EraTriggered AtIssuanceCharacter
1 (Genesis)0 ETH1.0xFrontier game
2100 ETH0.5xBootstrapping
3300 ETH0.25xMaturity
4700 ETH0.125xYield game
N(2× prev)1/2^(N−1)Continues

There's no era where it's bad to participate. Early entry is a frontier game. Late entry is a yield game. Both work.

The Architecture

The whole operation runs on three contracts.

$HEIST Token

ERC-20, fixed supply 91,111, deflationary. The boring honest one.

Heisenberg Hook

Uniswap V4 hook. Tracks heists, heat, crews. Holds the treasury. Mints $LOOT.

$LOOT Token

ERC-20, restricted minting (only the hook), burnable for ETH at any time.

All three contracts are immutable. No admin keys. No upgrade paths. No pause functions.

The Fees

Every trade pays a 2% fee. The doctor splits it three ways.

2%

per trade

Diagram 10 · The 2% fee split

The 10% buy-and-burn is what makes $HEIST deflationary. Every trade, regardless of direction, destroys some $HEIST forever. The supply curve only points down.
